City Council Meeting July 21, 2020

The City Council of the City of Blue Mound will hold a Regular City Council Meeting Tuesday, July 21, 2020 in the City Hall Council Chambers at 301 Blue Mound Road at 6:30 P.M. Up to the first thirty minutes of the meeting will be a public work session for staff briefing and Council discussion of agenda items listed below:

4.  Discuss and Consider Ordinance 555 amending the text of Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, Exhibit A to Chapter 14, “Zoning” by Amending the Regulations related to Carports

5.  Discuss and Consider Ordinance 556 amending the text of Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, Exhibit A to Chapter 14, “Zoning,” by adding Section 22C to regulate Solar Energy and Wind Energy Systems

6.    Discuss and Consider Ordinance 557 amending Chapter 3, Building Regulations, Article 3.04, Substandard or Dangerous Buildings of the City of Blue Mound Codes of Ordinances; Amending the Regulations for Substandard or Dangerous Buildings

7.   Discuss and Consider Resolution 20-09 Agreeing to Approve Bids for the 46^nd Year “CDBG,” Grant FY 2020 funds and authorizing the expenditure of funds for overages if needed for a water line project to replace approximately 1,150 linear feet of 2-inch water line with 1,150 linear feet of 6-inch PVC water line with new fittings, water valves, and water services

8.   Discuss and Consider approval Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Municipal Direct Expense Funding

9.    Discuss and Consider Departmental Monthly Reports for June 2020

12.   Work Session of the Building Board of Appeals to discuss the procedures for the abatement of substandard buildings.

Note: The City Council reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by the Texas Government Code, Section 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices) and 551.087 (Economic Development).
