Council Meeting January 19, 2021

 

The City Council of the City of Blue Mound will hold a Regular City Council Meeting on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in the City Hall Council Chambers, 301 S Blue Mound Road at Pre-Council 6:30 p.m. followed by Regular Meeting for the following agenda:

 

1.      Call to Order/ Pledge of Allegiance /Invocation / Announcements – Mayor Hooks

 

2.      Citizens Participation (Limit to 3 Minutes – Complete Speakers request form and Submit to City Secretary before start of meeting)

 

3.      Discuss and Consider an Ordinance No. 560 Appointing Cynthia Daniels as City Secretary

 

4.      Mayor to Administer Oath of Office to City Secretary Cynthia Daniels

 

5.      Executive Session:

 

a)      Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071, to receive legal advice from     the City’s attorney related to the following pending litigation:

9.      Discuss and Consider an Ordinance No. 561 Prohibit sellers of motor vehicles from leaving key in unattended vehicles

 

10.  Discuss and Consider Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 46^th Year program replacing water line on Blue Mound Road, Fagan Drive and Waggoman Road.

 

11.  Discuss and Consider Resolution 21-01 Calling for a General Election to Elect the Offices of Mayor, City Council Place 1, Place 2, Place 3, Place 4 and Place 5; to be held on May 1^st, 2021; Approving for a Joint Election Agreement with Tarrant County; Establishing Procedures for the Election; and Providing an Effective Date

 

12.  Discuss and Consider COIVD 19 Report by Chief Fannan
