The City Council of the City of Blue Mound will hold a Special City Council Meeting Tuesday, March 8, 2022 in the City Hall Council Chambers at 301 Blue Mound Road at 6:30P.M. for the following agenda:

 

1.    Call to Order / Invocation / Announcement - Mayor Copeland

 

2.       Citizens Participation (Limit to 3 Minutes – Complete Speakers request form and Submit to Asst. City Secretary before start of meeting)

A.    Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071, to receive legal advice from the City Attorney on matters related to City personnel in which the duty of the City Attorney to the City’s governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.

 

B.     Pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code the City Council will convene into Executive Session to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee – the City Secretary.

Notice of Blue Mound Public Hearing

 A Special Called Public Hearing will be held 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 in the City of Blue Mound Council Chambers, 301 Blue Mound Rd to discuss and consider Community Development Block Grant 48^th year – Program Year 2022, Replacing approximately 1,180 lf of 2" water line with approximately 1,180 lf of 6" water line with new fittings, water valves and water services. Water line will be placed within the right-of-way of Fagan Drive, along the north side of the road, from Waggoman Road to Globe Avenue. Existing water meters to remain.

   8. INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERATION

 

A.      Consider and/or act on amending Resolution No. 22-02 amending the Employee Handbook under section ‘Regular Part-time Employees’ concerning holiday pay to define how many hours a month a part time employee can work in order to be paid holiday pay.

 

B.      Consider and/or act on amending Ordinance No. 427 Chapter 1, Article 1.09, “Parks and Recreation”  Section 1.09.003, “Use of Ball Fields”, by adding a discount provision for the extended use of city owned ball fields in certain circumstances.

The City Council of the City of Blue Mound will hold a Public Hearing Monday, November 15, 2021 in the City Hall Council Chambers at 301 Blue Mound Road at 7:00 P.M. for the discussion of agenda items listed below:

3.   Hold a public hearing and take action regarding participation in the Tarrant County  RFP for the Community Development Block Grant-Coronavirus funding through Tarrant County to purchase media equipment, renovation to Building C to expand food bank, rehabilitate metal building located at 301 S Blue Mound Road to convert to a public reading center.
